Custom refinish of dining room table top. Removal of polyurethane, sanded down to natural grain, applied honey colored stain and finished with several coats of tung oil to showcase the beautiful natural wood grain.

I found Honey Lily Treasures from a local antique store in my town of Murfreesboro. After relocating here and moving into my new home in March, my dining room table, that has two internal leaf extensions, would not close correctly. I Emailed them per the card from the antique store and Nicole Emailed me back that night, even though they were away on vacation! She said that the mechanical part of the table was not really something they worked on but would be happy to come by and take a look. As it happens, when they came by, they were able to adjust the table with me and get it to work. After doing that, we were talking about my intention for the table to be passed on to my kids and grandkids. This brought up the finish on the table and they were explaining to me how they could refinish it for me. I loved their idea and so we agreed on a time for them to take it while I was out of the country. Due to my traveling, they were wonderful communicating with me by Email as I did not have phone access. They sent me updates with pictures on every step, along with sending me pictures of sample stains to choose from. When they brought the table back, they made sure it was on correctly (they only took the tabletop) and working perfectly before they left. Also, they gave me a clear understanding of how it needed to still cure at my house for a month and what I should do daily to help that process along. And, lastly, they said if I had any issues or something did not seem right about the finish, to let the know and they would come back. Most people probably say this, but I truly do not do reviews, I have no online presence to speak off and it is just not my cup of tea to write reviews. In the case of Honey Lily Treasures with Nicole and Chris, this is not so much a review as a thank you! If you need any work on your loved and favorite wood furniture, get in touch with them, you will be very happy that you did!
