SOLD: Vintage Writing Desk - Upcycled Furniture

We all need a cute desk like this where we can work and then quickly hide the mess away! This small wood desk includes a front door which when opened serves as a work and writing surface. In addition to the two larger storage drawers, there is also an organizer with several storage compartments and a small drawer to hold your desk supplies and other items. This hand painted table will be perfect in your entryway hall, foyer, bedroom or anywhere you need a work area.

The desk frame and legs have been painted a creamy white using chalk paint with a distressed finish. The desk top, inside space and drawers have been sanded down to their natural wood grain and stained a beautiful java brown. Vintage postage and script furniture transfers have been applied on the inside work surface as well as the sides of the large drawers. Hardware has been modernized with copper gilding. The full piece has been finished with clear wax for durability, protection and ease of cleaning.
